Our Team

Tyler Petersen

President

Tyler Petersen has worked on many award-winning projects throughout his career. He began as an Associate at a large Architectural Firm in 2000 and was quickly responsible for the design and construction oversight of several 20+ story high-rise condominiums in Southwest Florida. That same year Tyler started Petersen Design Studio with an emphasis on providing one-on-one design services for high-end residential clients. Since then his clientele has evolved to include commercial and institutional projects. His portfolio ranges from small medical offices and restaurant design to high-rise condominiums and heavy industrial facilities. His goal of building relationships with clients continues to this day, as evident by the numerous repeat clients.

Kenneth Schoenfeld

Kenneth Schoenfeld joined PDS Architecture in 2014. He has a Bachelor of Architecture from Kent State University and is a licensed Architect in Florida and Ohio. Ken has been a Certified Plans Examiner, and is a member of the International Code Council as well as the Building Officials Association of Florida. Over 20 years of professional work includes a broad range of building types including residential, business, restaurants, marina facilities, assisted living facilities, and industrial. His background further includes mechanical, electrical, and plumbing experience for co-ordination with consultants. His full range of knowledge in the design process allows him to work with clients from preliminary design though construction.

Bryan leads the growing production team at PDS Architecture. An up and coming project manager with more than 8 years of experience, Bryan is an accomplished draftsman in commercial, residential, industrial, medical, religious, and financial buildings in the area. He has been involved with the design of multiple award-winning projects, as well as the redesign and preservation of historical buildings. Bryan is also our in house render artist with experience using multiple 3d modeling, rendering and animation software.
As a student Bryan won regional and state design awards, and was an honorable mention in the 2006 Skills USA National Design competition. He is certified in Architectural Drafting, and is currently enrolled in college courses to further his education and career trajectory.

With 35 years of design experience Charlie has project knowledge in various types of construction documents. These would include Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Civil plan drawings with knowledge of permitting as well as construction documentation. Charlie has experience in many types of projects including residential, hotel, warehouse, office space, airport, and community entrances. I have experience in environmental design drawings including water & wastewater design, as well as environmental audits. His background includes the use of Cad software in both 2-d and 3-d design utilizing multiple cad programs. He has experience with scale modeling as well as rendering for client presentations.

Adam is in his final year of school at the University of Illinois, and is currently studying abroad in Spain.  He started his internship with PDS in the summer of 2015, and in his downtime while at school, he works with PDS on various projects, he also assists in creating 3d models for renderings, and various client needs. After graduation Adam plans to return to PDS full time to continue acquiring IDP hours on his journey to become a licensed architect.
